Considering GAME SCIENCE still a young Chinese game studio, and Black Myth Wukong is their first console/PC title, the 1/10 of 10m copies sells oversea, ~1m, is a huge success for them and Chinese developer.
There's no demographic nor any filtering on the current players, so no indication it's not mainly domestic. But now that it's the middle of the night in China, the current players amount to 28% of today's peak.

Agree 100%. If you remove the Chinese audience, it's ranked about #6 in CCU on Steam, right alongside Naraka: Bladepoint.
