These are the same people who have been yelling that video games cause violence on supposed brainwave activity that fizzled out over the last 10 years. If we had acted on that evidence, we'd be worse off today. That's where we should set our priors when examining any regulation towards the industry.

Outside of the heinous murder itself, I thought about what will be the reaction to the games industry from a governmental perspective. I imagine there will be one and, as you say, it’s better to make changes than have changes made for you
